Recently, I was introduced to Sharon Misch-Skop and Debra Jarvis, owner’s/designer’s of Details and Finishing Touches, Canton MI. I fell in love with their passion for not only their work but also their clients vision. Sharon and Debra thrive on reinventing the traditional. Today’s bride is looking for “different” , something no one has done before. Sharon and Debra worked closely with their bride Sarah, who’s vision and lifelong dream was a casually-elegant, yet very, very romantic, and fun wedding. These images are the result of their talent.

Sarah’s “shabby chic” themed wedding was held at Three Cedars Farm in Salem Township. With so many wonderful foundational elements to work with Sharon and Debra artfully completed Sarah’s vision. From the barns beam work, extravagant window boxes, wooden rocking chairs, to adding birch branches lit with twinkle lights as room dividers, vintage glass cake pedestals, a vintage quilt and “grandma’s” linens really took an old barn and made it a beautifully elegant venue.

This was a fun project I got to work on this spring. Noelle, who owns Bella Noella Boutique, was looking to update her images for her Etsy store. I was more than happy to photograph her gorgeous work. All Noelle's designs are original and handmade by Noelle herself. These are just few of my favorites. To view more of Noelle's fabulous work visit her online store on Etsy.
